Where is Metro?

Yesterday we went on an adventure that started at a bakery.  We decided to go exploring around our neighborhood to see what shops and things there were around.  First we stopped by a baker and had some delicious pastries.

 Then we walked around by some shops and stopped by this little fruit stand.  There was all sorts of fresh produce and it all looked very delicious.

 We saw these and didn't know what they were so we looked it up and it turned out that they are gooseberries.  Who knew?

 This interesting looking vegetable reminded me of Harry Potter when they pull those little screaming plants out of the dirt.  They look like they have little arms.

 There were tons of jars of jam and things that you could buy at this little stand and it all looked so fresh and delicious.

 Then we just looked around in a little store and look what I found?  I was so excited.

 These are really good.  They are everywhere, too.  They are little ball that have a hard, coconut shell and it's creamy inside and there is an almond inside.  They are so sweet and delicious.

 After that we went to find a mattress store.  So we found one and we all went in and my parents were looking at mattresses and Tanner and I just lay down on what looked like the comfiest ones and relaxed.  It was very nice.  Here comes the best part.  So we wanted to check out this store called Metro that is supposed to be like Costco.  So we find the address that had already been put into the GPS and we start driving there.  Apparently the purple line is harder to follow then it looks so about every other turn we missed.  Eventually we kept getting farther and farther away from our destination and we were all getting a little frustrated.  FINALLY we got to the little checkered flag and the building was supposed to be right there and we look and there is the exact opposite of a building there.  There is a giant hole in the ground and there was construction going on.  So, we thought maybe we had the wrong address so we drove a little ways and found an address for it a different way and we drove and eventually came to the same dirt hole.  It was very confusing, but we just gave up and said we would try again some other time.  After we failed to find Metro we all decided we needed to get out of the car for a little while.  So we stopped by a river where peoplle were swimming and sitting in the sun and we just put our feet in the water and relaxed.  It was really nice and relaxing.  This is classic Sister Kohler just standing on a rock.

 

 There was the most gorgeous view of a church and the trees and it turned out to be an okay day after all.
